Albany (again)
I went to Albany this weekend (on the bike). I left straight from work Friday so I could get there in time to see Steve's band (The Outnumbered) play at Saratoga winners. Oh wait, before I get too far with that, here's why I like Rt 2.
As I was saying, Steve's band was great. Get on that myspace page and give them a listen. The rest of the weekend was good too. I knocked off some beer's at Mahar's, ate some "I <3" and some bombers, and roamed around Washington Park. I like Albany a lot, its just a little dumpy. You're always waiting to get to the "nice part" of town and the truth is its just not there. Some people may argue with me, but I don't give a fuck. I like the 'ole girl, she just needs to take better care of herself.
Also, I must have put 300+ miles on the bike. I'm starting to wish I had some wind protection and a little more juice for the highway. I'm getting over the other comfort issues, but cruising at 75+ is teh suck.
